why do you want to be a nurse? It wasn’t some “lifelong calling” for me....

Ok, I actually started as a bio major, then realized I wanted something more hands-on. The first time I shadowed in a hospital, I saw how much nurses actually DO for patients compared to doctors. That clicked for me.👌
So yeah - I want to be a nurse because I want a career where I feel useful every single day, even when it’s exhausting.

Anyone else here have a non-cliché reason for choosing nursing?
